March Against Antisemitism - Strasbourg

At the invitation of the International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism (Licra) of the Bas-Rhin, a large march against anti-Semitism in Strasbourg took place from Place de l'Université to Avenue de la Liberté and Place de la République. Around 5,000 people gathered to protest against anti-Semitism and for the Republic. In attendance were Jeanne Barseghian, Mayor of Strasbourg (EELV), Josianne Chevalier, Prefect of the Bas-Rhin and Grand-Est regions, representatives of the Israeli Consistory, Fabienne Keller MEP, Thierry Roos, Vice-President of the Jewish Consistory of the Bas-Rhin, Catherine Trautmann, former Minister and Mayor of Strasbourg, Pap Ndiaye, former French Minister of Education and Youth, François Ruffin, LFI MP, Michel Deneken, President of the University of Strasbourg.
