Zhang shared his writing experience with readers via video, hoping that people in Tunisia and other Arab countries can have a deeper understanding of China and Chinese people's life through the translation of his work. Zahia Jouirou, director of the Translation Institute of Tunis, said in her speech that more and more people in Tunisia have developed an interest in Chinese literature in recent years. The institute will organize more activities on Chinese literature translation in 2023 to introduce Chinese literature and culture to Tunisians, Jouirou added.
