"Godzilla's footprint" monument in Yokosuka, near Tokyo

Visitors take a rest on a monument in the shape of Godzilla's footprint at Kannonzaki Park in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture near Tokyo on July 2, 2025. The monument, which is covered with black-and-white tiles, was built in April in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the release of the first film featuring the fire-breathing, city-stomping monster, as the film depicted a scene in which Godzilla was first spotted in waters nearby.
