Nobel laureate Oe calls for reducing U.S. bases in Okinawa

TOKYO, Japan - Kenzaburo Oe, the 1994 Nobel laureate for literature, speaks at a meeting of the (Constitution) Article 9 Association in Tokyo on June 19, 2010, with a photo of the late popular playwright Hisashi Inoue hanging above him.
