800 carp stream in mountain town

KANNA, Japan - Some 800 cloth-made carp stream in the mountain town of Kanna in Gunma Prefecture on April 25. Colorful carp streamers are put up across Japan from late April to early May each year in celebration of the Children's Day on May 5. The idea is to pray that children grow as robustly as carp.
