In the heart of Kadhimiya, a neighborhood in Baghdad, lies the old Malhani market where craftsmen can be found hard at work. Abu al-Abbas, the owner of a workshop that specializes in crafting home furniture from palm leaves, shares that he has been in this profession for many years, having inherited it from his parents and grandparents. He continues to manage the workshop to make a living.
