Typhoon Shanshan – Strong Winds, Heavy Rains Lash Southwestern Japan 2

Typhoon Shanshan (No. 10) brought heavy rains and strong winds to southwestern Japan on Wednesday, August 28 as it is slowly moving toward Kyushu, one of Japan's four main islands. The storm prompted a emergency warning for storms and high waves for most of Kagoshima Prefecture, southern Kyushu and more than 150 flight cancellations.
