News conference on response to sexual violence during war in Kyiv

KYIV, UKRAINE - JUNE 19, 2024 - Ukrainian Government Commissioner for Gender Policy Kateryna Levchenko attends a news conference on the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, Kyiv, capital of Ukraine. Ukrainian officials and international partners have presented the first results of the pilot project on urgent interim reparations for victims of sexual violence in wartime and the draft law on the State Register of Survivors. They have also reported on the work of Survivor Relief Centres.
