BRUSSELS, Belgium - European Council President Herman Van Rompuy (L) puts his haiku, written in English, into a ''haiku post'' during a ceremony in Brussels, Belgium, on April 19, 2012. TOKYO, Japan - Keio University professor emeritus Masaru Ikei (C), the head of a special committee set up to investigate a scouting scandal involving the Seibu Lions, holds a news conference in Tokyo on April 25 where he said the committee has finished its work and found no new improper money deals. Last month, it was revealed that Yuta Kimura, a pitcher of the Tokyo Gas team, had admitted receiving 2.7 million yen under the table from Seibu. The Lions were also found to have paid money to Waseda University player Katsuhito Shimizu before and after he was enrolled in the university.
