TOKYO, Japan - Cartoonist Kazuo Umezu poses for photographers after the Tokyo District Court dismissed demands by two of his neighbors for him to remove the red-and-white stripes from his house in Tokyo's Musashino city. The court said that the house ''attracts attention, but cannot be said to destroy the scenery.'' Umezu, who attended court wearing a red-and-white striped tie, told reporters after the ruling, ''I would like to live showing respect to others.''
