New art museum in Kanazawa unveiled before public opening

KANAZAWA, Japan - Tourism officials have a sneak preview Sept. 2 of a new contemporary art museum in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, where artworks are integrated into the innovative circular building itself. The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, which was designed by internationally renowned Japanese architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, will open to the public on Oct. 9.
