Shareholders voted on the deal a day after US senator Marco Rubio said he wanted the US administration to review the national security implications of CME's sale. CME signed the contract with PPF's subsidiaries last October. The deal still needs an approval by the European Commission and regulators in some of the countries where CME has been operating.
