US: Snowfall in Kentucky, Heavier Snowfall Expected as Winter Weather Advisory Issued

A widespread winter storm is expected to affect 13 states across the U.S. with heavy snow, ice, and strong winds, prompting the National Weather Service (NWS) to issue winter storm warnings; in Kentucky, specifically, Harlan started to snow on Sunday night, November 10, and counties like Harlan and Letcher could see up to 4 inches of snow in some areas, while Bell and Pike counties are forecast to receive up to 2 inches by Tuesday morning, November 11.
