Finnish skulls are reburied

Old Finnish skulls are buried outside Church of St. Michael at Pälkäne, Finland, on September 8, 2024. The skulls were taken from Finland to Sweden in the 1870s, and they are returned to their original places of discovery this autumn. Minister of Science and Culture Sari Multala and Member of Parliament Pauli Kiuru stand in the front row. LEHTIKUVA / KALLE PARKKINEN - FINLAND OUT. NO THIRD PARTY SALES.
