PYONGYANG, North Korea - A gigantic poster at the Korean Central History Museum in Pyongyang announces an exhibit of photographs of ancient murals from the Koguryo tomb complex outside Pyongyang. The exhibit, co-sponsored by Kyodo News and South Korea's Yonhap News Agency, opens Oct. 11 and will run until Nov. 10.

N. Korea gives Kyodo News exclusive tour of World Heritage site

TOKYO, Japan - North Korea recently allowed Kyodo News exclusive access to a World Heritage site in a Pyongyang suburb, the first time that the tomb and mural complex from ancient Koguryo Dynasty (from the end of the first century B.C. to A.D. 668) has been shown to foreign news media.
