Taiho, who turned 60 on May 29, will be honored in a ceremony at Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugigan on June 8. The former grand champion won the Emperor's Cup for a total of 32 times in his illustrious career. The symbolic red belt took over one hour to tie.
