Snow Brand Foods to disband in late April

TOKYO, Japan - Koshiro Iwase, president of Snow Brand Foods Co., announces at a news conference in Tokyo on Feb. 22 that the company will disband in April and fire most of its 1,000 employees in March. The dissolution stemmed from sharply declining sales in the wake of the scandal involving the deliberate mislabeling of beef products.
