KISARAZU, Japan - Japanese super flyweight champion Shingo Sasaki, is in exercise at his gym in Kisarazu, Chiba Prefecture on Dec. 12 in preparation for his charity match against Thailand's top-ranked super flyweight Khunchit Kiatgeija in Sodegaura on Dec. 15. A public servant in the town of Kyonan in the prefecture, Sasaki is legally barred from receiving a purse. The proceeds of the nontitle match will go to the municipal coffers of Sodegaura and Kisarazu, with part of the money expected to be spent on sports promotion.
