India: Air Force Show Causes Travel Chaos In Chennai

An air show was held on Sunday, October 6, at Chennai Marina Beach to mark the 92nd IAF (Indian Air Force) Day celebrations. More than 1.5 million people flocked to the beach in scorching heat to watch the show. Buses and trains were packed for hours. Five people died, and more than 100 were taken to hospitals due to heatstroke and dehydration.
