STORY: FATACIL returns to Portugal's Lagoa after two-year suspension DATELINE: Aug. 29, 2022 LENGTH: 0:01:09 LOCATION: Lisbon CATEGORY: SOCIETY SHOTLIST: 1. various of the event STORYLINE: FATACIL, or the Fair for Handicraft, Tourism, Agriculture, Commerce and Industry, has returned to Lagoa, south Portugal from Aug. 19 to 28, after a two-year suspension due to the COVID pandemic. As one of the largest of its kind in Portugal, the event featured the best handicraft, agriculture and traditions of the Algarve region. According to the organizers, the fair attracted some 34,000 people on Aug. 27, beating the daily record of visitors to the fair.
