As a participant in a solar media project, she succeeded to earn more money and better feed her children by learning hairdressing and some other skills to get more job opportunities. Limited and Nairobi-based Mama Layla Solar Lights in Kenya partnered in September 2022 to roll out solar-powered tablets, or "solar media" that are designed to empower marginalized communities.
