Takara to launch Idol Licca-chan series

TOKYO, Japan - Toy maker Takara Co. said feb. 28 it will launch a new series of its Licca-chan dolls (in handout photo) in April and promote sales through the real-life Licca, a recently formed singing group of three teenage girls. The Idol Licca-chan series, to hit the market April 18, consists of a package of three different dolls. The dolls will have a suggested retail price of 8,360 yen for all three.

ANA unveils 'Licca-chan' doll in new uniforms

TOKYO, Japan - All Nippon Airways Co. announces on Dec. 22, 2014, the sale of an "ANA original cabin attendant Licca-chan" doll set featuring the airline's new flight attendant uniforms to be introduced on Feb. 1, 2015. The set, including the Tomy Co. doll, uniforms, apron and rolling suitcase, are available on the ANA Shopping A-style website for 8,800 yen, or for 5,000 yen on domestic flights starting on Jan. 1 for a set with only the doll in a uniform.
