Volkswagen Intelligent Manufacturing Base in Hefei

HEFEI, CHINA - MAY 20, 2024 - The intelligent manufacturing base of Volkswagen (Anhui) Co., Ltd. in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone, Anhui province, China, May 20, 2024. Volkswagen (Anhui) Co., Ltd. is the first joint venture of Volkswagen Group in China focusing on new energy vehicles, and has established an intelligent manufacturing base in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone, Anhui Province, covering a total area of about 510,000 square meters. Based on the Volkswagen Group MEB modular electric drive platform, the first model has been put into production at the end of 2023.
