STORY: Malta Int'l Fireworks Festival formally kicks off SHOOTING TIME: April 20, 2024 DATELINE: April 21, 2024 LENGTH: 00:02:20 LOCATION: Valletta CATEGORY: ENTERTAINMENT SHOTLIST: 1. various of fireworks STORYLINE: The 2024 edition of the Malta International Fireworks Festival kicked off on Saturday night at the Valletta Grand Harbor. The stunning fireworks display lit up the sky and the harbor, attracting locals and tourists alike. The fireworks were released from boats perched in the harbor. There was a magnificent range of colors and designs, in sync with the upbeat music playing on shore. Fireworks will illuminate the Maltese skies in other locations including Marsaxlokk, Nadur and Mellieha, with the grand finale taking place at the Grand Harbour on the last day of the month. The festival is organized by the Malta Tourism Authority as a way to offer more tourist attractions while helping to preserve an old Maltese tradition.
