THE RESTORATION WORKS SHOW ON THE LEFT HAND OF THE VIRGIN THE MONOGRAM OF MICHELANGELO, REMAINED HIDDEN FOR NEARLY 500 YEARS: AN "M" DRAWN ON THE PALM WITH THE LINES OF THE HAND.
