The Maasai are a Nilotic ethnic group inhabiting northern Tanzania and central and southern Kenya. Ray Lipasho Kimeshwa, a Maasai born in Tanzania's northern region of Manyara, once owned about 100 cattle between the 1990s and 2000s. But the drought caused by climate change killed some of his animals. In 2001, Kimeshwa migrated to the port city of Dar es Salaam to engage in the business of hairdressing. He teamed up with two other Maasais, who both arrived in Dar es Salaam in 2016 to do the hairdressing business. Kimeshwa said their customers are women fro
