Ray Lipasho Kimeshwa, a Maasai born in Tanzania's northern region of Manyara, once owned about 100 cattle between the 1990s and 2000s. But the drought caused by climate change killed some of his animals. In 2001, Kimeshwa migrated to the port city of Dar es Salaam to engage in the business of hairdressing.
