TOKYO, Japan - Sony Marketing (Japan) Inc., the sales unit of consumer electronics giant Sony Corp., said Sept. 5 it will introduce a bear version of the ''Aibo'' dog-like robot pet (pictured) on Sept. 22. Modeled on a bear cub, the new version comes in white and black and will be priced at 98,000 yen, more than 50,000 yen cheaper than its previous dog and lion versions. The latest version, called ''Latte'' in white and ''Macaron'' in black, is equipped with 15 motors to mimic bear cub movements and respond to 75 oral signals, 1.5 times more than the previous versions, Sony Marketing said.
