KYOTO, Japan - The Kyoto city government in April 2011 began handing out a free booklet to guide tourists to scenes in the ancient city described in 20 popular Japanese cartoons and animations including ''Lucky Star,'' ''Tatami Galaxy'' and ''Nagima! Magister Negi Magi.'' Shown on the opened page are characters from the cartoon ''Oishinbo.'' (Kyodo)
