TOKYO, Japan - Suzuki Motor Corp. on Oct. 21 begins selling its Splash five-door compact car (photo) for the Japanese market manufactured by its Hungarian subsidiary. The 1.2-liter, 3.7-meter-long car, produced by Magyar Suzuki Corp. in Esztergom, around 50 kilometers from Budapest, is the first vehicle manufactured by an overseas unit of the automaker to be sold in Japan with the Suzuki badge.
