US: Hurricane Hone Brings Heavy Rain, Strong Winds To Hawaii

Hurricane Hone brought strong winds and heavy rain to Hawaii as it moved westward just south of the islands as a Category 1 storm on Sunday, August 25. This video shows floodwater flowing down Mamalahoa Highway in Kaʻu, Hawaii Island. Several road closures, power outages for thousands thousands of people, and flight disruptions were also reported.
