Soyuz rocket launch in 1990

The Soyuz TM-11 rocket carrying Toyohiro Akiyama, a reporter for Japanese television broadcaster Tokyo Broadcasting System, and two Soviet cosmonauts -- commander Victor Afanasyev and engineer Musa Manarov -- launches off from the Baikonur space center in the Soviet republic of Kazakhstan on Dec. 2, 1990.
