KATHMANDU, Nepal - Supporters of Nepal's Maoists take to the streets on Dec. 20, 2009, the first day of a three-day nationwide general strike, to demand that President Ram Baran Yadav apologize for his decision in May to countermand Maoist leader Prachanda's order for the army chief to be sacked. Prachanda resigned in May as prime minister.
