Pereira's Matecaña International Airport sustained significant damage after a magnitude-7.4 earthquake struck on Monday, August 10. The tremor, with its epicenter near San Jose del Palmar, Choco, was felt across much of the country and caused widespread damage. More than 260 people have reportedly been killed.
