BOSTON, Massachusetts - Frank Hobbs (L), an 85-year-old former U.S. soldier, and Yoko Takekawa, 64, hold a drawing by Yoko's sister Chie, now 73, when she was second grader, at his home in Boston on March 14. Hobbs returned the drawing and other personal belongings of Yoko's father Matsuji Takekawa, a Japanese soldier who died at the age of 37 in the Battle of Iwojima in the Pacific Ocean.

Frank Hobbs, an 85-year-old former U.S. soldier living in Boston, returned the photograph and other personal belongings of Matsuji Takekawa, who died at the age of 37 in the Battle of Iwojima, as the island is more commonly known, in the Pacific Ocean, to his daughter Yoko, 64, who currently lives in New Jersey. The returned photo shows Yoko on the 100th day after her birth.
