Soka Gakkai lay Buddhist group leader Ikeda dies at 95

Lay Buddhist organization Soka Gakkai Honorary President Daisaku Ikeda speaks at a hotel in Tokyo in May 2008. Ikeda, the third president of one of the largest religious groups in Japan, died at age 95 on Nov. 15, 2023, at his home in Tokyo.
