Abe to visit Laos in Sept. for ASEAN summit talks

Final event at Tokyo's National Stadium

TOKYO, Japan - People pack Tokyo's National Stadium, the centerpiece of the 1964 Summer Olympic Games, to attend the "Japan Night" music concert on May 28, 2014, the first day of a two-day final event before the stadium is demolished to make way for the main venue for the 2020 Olympics. The work to demolish the stadium will begin in July and the new National Stadium will be completed in March 2016.
