RECAP: Storm Gabrielle Brings Torrential Rain and Floods to Spain

Storm Gabrielle caused heavy rain and severe flooding across eastern Spain from September 28 to 29, followed by widespread flooding in the Balearic Islands on September 30. In Ibiza, roads and infrastructure were submerged, and rescue teams were deployed to assist affected residents. Other areas, including Catalonia, Valencia, and Tarragona, also experienced urban flooding and school closures.
