Nippon Milk begins nationwide sale of milk products

TOKYO, Japan - A girl tastes milk produced by Nippon Milk Community Co. at an outlet of supermarket operator Daiei Inc. in Tokyo's Meguro Ward. on Jan. 7. Nippon Milk, established on Jan. 1 to take over the milk businesses of troubled Snow Brand Milk Products Co. and two agricultural cooperative federations, started nationwide sales of milk products under the Megmilk label.

Snow Brand's planned firm to use new brand name 'MEGMILK'

TOKYO, Japan - Shinichi Sugitani (C), who will assume the presidency of Nippon MilkCommunity Co. to be launched Jan. 1, and other officials show the company's new brand called ''MEGMILK'' at a news conference in Tokyo on Aug. 22. The new company will be formed by integrating milk divisions of the scandal-hit Snow Brand Milk Products Co., the National Federation of Agricultural Cooperative Associations (Zen-Noh) and the National Federation of Dairy Cooperative Associations (Zenrakuren).
