The Plenary Hall of the Congress has been hosting since yesterday, November 15, the investiture debate of the incumbent Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez. The Secretary General of the PSOE has the support of 179 deputies out of the 350 in Congress. It is foreseen that today PSOE, Sumar, ERC, Junts, EH Bildu, PNV, BNG and Coalición Canaria will vote in favor of the Socialist leader to become President of the Government after presenting his program, against the 171 against PP, Vox and UPN. The event is held at a time of tension due to the concentrations at the PSOE headquarters in Ferraz and protests against the amnesty law registered by the socialists that benefits those involved in the 'procés'.
