The event was organized by the Al-Mesalla Organization for Human Resources Development with the support of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The celebration included the opening of a special bazaar for more than 20 refugee and displaced women, during which they displayed their handicrafts, including accessories, fabrics, artifacts, and cosmetics, as well as paintings. Al-Mesalla seeks to empower and support women in order to be self-reliant in finding job opportunities and providing daily sustenance for themselves and their families.
