TUNIS, Tunisia - Tunisian President Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali (L) is presented with a streetcar track-paving stone hit by the 1945 U.S. atomic bombing of the Japanese city, engraved with an image of a Buddhist goddess praying for peace, by Michio Umemoto, head of the Stone for Peace Association of Hiroshima, in Tunis on Nov. 7. ''From today, the stone will be a part of this beautiful Tunisia, sharing our desire for world peace and strong hope that our children will live in a world free from the terror of war, murder and hatred,'' Umemoto said at a ceremony.
