Adrian MacDonald from the United States won the men's 100 Miler (165km) with a time of 15:00:57, while Konoka Azumi from Japan was crowned the women's champion in 18:24:53. The Wellington-based athlete Daniel Jones won the TUM102 title in 7:46:42. New Zealand female runner Ruth Croft won her maiden Tarawera Ultramarathon title with a time of 9:14:14. Englishman Ronnie Sparke, making his Tarawera debut, claimed victory in 3:30:48 in the 50km and Rotorua-raised Caitlin Fielder took out her third Tarawera title, securing victory in 4:01:41.
