Komuro invited to U.N. Millennium Assembly event

NEW YORK, United States - The United Nations on April 6 invites Japanese pop producer Tetsuya Komuro (R) to a commemorative event at the U.N. headquarters in October to mark the Millennium General Assembly session. The invitation was extended by U.N. Undersecretary Kensaku Hogen (L), the top U.N. official in charge of communications and public information, in a meeting at U.N. headquarters. Komuro has composed a theme song on behalf of the U.N. International Drug Control Program.
