Japan teaching manuals

TOKYO, Japan - A September 2012 photo shows (from front) Minamikojima, Kitakojima and Uotsuri islands of the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea. Japan's education minister Hakubun Shimomura announced on Jan. 28, 2014, that the education ministry has revised its teaching manuals for junior and senior high schools to describe the disputed Senkaku Islands and Takeshima islets as "integral parts of Japanese territory."
