The fatal collision involving a passenger bus, light truck and a taxi occurred at around 7:20 a.m. local time near a junction in Mingaladon township of Yangon region, it said. The passenger bus first hit a light truck on the same direction of the road and then a taxi from the opposite direction of the road, it said. A total of 119 cows and 76 goats were competing in the two-day weekend event in Yangon's Mingaladon township, according to the Yangon Region Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department. Livestock feeds, livestock medicines and livestock products were also showcased and sold at about 15 stalls and shops during the exhibition. "The event aims to boost livestock production, especially cow breeding. It also aims to conserve indigenous cattle breeds," according to Toe Min Tun, head of the Yangon Region Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department.
