Cinemas converting to digital movies

TOKYO, Japan - Combination photos taken in January 2012 at Toho Cinemas Miyukiza in Tokyo show equipment to show digitally distributed movies (L) and a film projector (R) to show old movies. Japan's 10 leading cinema complex operators, which own about 70 percent of the country's roughly 3,300 movie screens, will complete their installation of equipment to show digitally distributed movies by the summer of 2013.
