'Kiccoro,' 'Morizo' selected as names of Expo 2005 mascots

NAGOYA, Japan - Two mascots for the 2005 World Exposition in Aichi Prefecture, ''Kiccoro'' (L) and ''Morizo,'' appear on stage in front of JR Nagoya Station on June 29. The Japan Association for the 2005 World Exposition announced the names of the mascots, which represent the ''Child of the Forest'' and ''Old Man of the Forest'' respectively, 1,000 days before the official opening of the fair.
