Honda devises automatic transmission system for big motorbikes

TOKYO, Japan - Honda Motor Co. plans to put the 680 cc DN-01 motorbike (shown in this photo), which is equipped with the Human-Friendly Transmission system, on the market in the first half of next year. The HFT system, developed by Honda, is a new automatic transmission system for motorcycles which can be mounted on large bikes and offers three automatic shifting modes for selection.
