World record set in Takarazuka for longest single line of dancers

TAKARAZUKA, Japan - People in Takarazuka, Hyogo Prefecture, the city famous for the Takarazuka Revue, dance together in a line on the bank of the Muko River on Nov. 1, 2014, as they attempt to set a world record for the longest single line of dancers. They set a record recognized by the Guinness World Records when 4,395 people danced for more than 5 minutes in a line, beating the previous record set in 2012 in the United States with 2,569 dancers.

KYOTO, Japan - A slope at Itsukahara tumulus (late 3rd century, keyhole-shaped tumulus) in Muko, Kyoto Prefecture, western Japan, is shown on Oct. 16, 2014. Muko City Center for Archaeological Operations announced that the slope was arranged in a similar manner to the Hashihaka tumulus in Sakurai, Nara Prefecture. TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken in May 2014 shows Chisako Kakehi, who was arrested on Nov. 19, 2014, for allegedly murdering her husband in December 2013 at their home in the city of Muko, Kyoto Prefecture, western Japan, by giving him a fatal dose of cyanide.
